Raffle Prizes

Lots of prizes are up for grabs over the weekend. With much higher odds of winning than the National Lottery, why not have a flutter on one of our two raffles?

Raffle: Non-Canoeing

Tickets are now on sale for the ‘non-canoeing’ raffle. This doesn't mean that canoeists can't buy tickets, it just ensures that your granny isn't wondering what to do with a polo helmet or cag. Tickets priced £1 are available from one of the committee or are on sale at the event. The raffle will be drawn at 7pm on Saturday 29th May.

  • 1st Prize: An adventure weekend for two
  • 2nd Prize: Spode hand painted plate
  • 3rd Prize: Jasper Conran Stuart Crystal gift set
  • 4th Prize: Silver Monkey Puzzle pendant
  • 5th Prize: Two Japanese Samurai swords

First Prize: An adventure weekend for two
Top prize is an adventure weekend for two in North Wales. The Berwyn Arms are treating one lucky couple, or two friends, to two nights B & B accommodation in their bunkhouse outside of Llangollen. To get the adrenalin going, just along the road, JJ Rafting is providing an action-packed day for you to choose from either whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, quad biking, laser clay shooting, climbing, abseiling, problem-obstacle courses or gorge-walking. Round the day off with a well-deserved free evening meal at the Berwyn Arms pub.

If this sounds like it might wash out the purple rinse, I'm sure a deserving son, daughter, grandchild, friend etc would really appreciate it.

Second Prize: A hand painted plate from Spode.
Hours of work have gone into this unique floral plate, which usually retails at over £100.

Third Prize: Jasper Conran Stuart Crystal gift set.
One for trendy men: a bottle of Jasper Conran aftershave with two Stuart Crystal whiskey tumblers. It’s not advised that you drink the aftershave from the tumblers!

Monkey Puzzle is an exclusive shop in York who specialise in contemporary jewellery that is a little bit different and special. The pendant is a silver cross with a gold plated pace suspended on a silver rope chain.
